Most people enjoy a holiday and kidney patients and their carers are no exception. Holidays are possible for all kidney patients as long as you are reasonably fit - all it takes is a little planning.

The National Kidney Foundation's Holiday Pages are an extensive collection of information on this subject including tips and guidelines, holiday insurance and details of dialysis centres throughout the world that accept patients for treatment while they are on holiday.

For those who want a break but don't want to travel too far afield a caravan at Tummel Bridge, near Pitlochry is available to all members of TKPA for a nominal fee.
