Transplantation

Kidney transplantation used to be carried out at Ninewells, but is now carried out at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, along with Pancreas and Liver transplants.

A kidney transplant represents the chance of what amounts to "new life". In recognition of this the Association fully supports Revival - the local organisation responsible for the promotion of public awareness of organ donation and transplantation.
